Hinge In Door Is Rusted

At first that doesn t seem like a serious problem.

Luckily the rust on my hinges was not too deep and i was able to get it all off between the soaking and the scrubbing. In addition to its unsightly appearance rust can corrode and weaken the structure of metal causing holes to appear and increasing the possibility of the hinge breaking or snapping when the door opens.
