In most hydronic residential cooling systems today cooling like heating is done through hydronic air handlers or fan coils. Chilled and hot water coils chilled and hot water coils are available in 1 5 8 1 2 and 3 8 inch od copper tubes with aluminum or copper fins.

Today aaon offers a wide selection of chilled water hot water steam and refrigerant fin and tube coil configurations. Hydronic cooling is typically used in commercial or institutional applications. Use a hot water coil or booster coil from grainger to boost the temperature in a ducted hvac system. And unlike traditional radiators that just work on convection heat the fan coil heater can cover 3 times the space of a traditional radiator.

Casing options include flanged slip and drive end plates only and inverted side plate flanges in galvanized stainless steel and copper materials. Whenever a zone needs cooling it will request water from that tank by opening a valve or starting a zone circulation pump noted rheault.
